Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve - Hemmingway Trail

We pick-you-up from your residence at 07:30-am after breakfast and drive to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley where you’ll stop for panoramic and breathtaking-views. Descend the escarpment and drive through the Hemingway-trails to arrive at Narok-town for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Masai Mara arrive for late afternoon/early evening game drive in the park until sunset.


Morning and afternoon game viewing. We drive you round for full day trip into the expansive game reserve from 07:30-am after breakfast. The famous Masaai Mara is renowned for its abundance of great animal herds. It’s a wildlife paradise!

Drive to the Mara River where you’ll enjoy your lunches under the bushes picnic-site by the river-side as you watch hippos and crocodiles. Across the river thousands of Wildebeest migration takes place- a great spectacle to behold- the ‘’Big Five’’ animals from Serengeti park Tanzania crossing into Masai Mara Kenya. After lunch, have an afternoon game drive until sunset, then drive back to your camp/lodge for a deserved hot shower and sumptuous dinner!


Pre-breakfast game drive from 06:30-am to 09:30-am, to see leopards, cheaters, lioness hunting. This has been considered the best time to see the cuts-animal making a kill as the sun-rises on the horizon. Back to your camp for a full breakfast, then visit the Maasai village [manyatta] and later depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, lunch served on the way arriving at Lake Nakuru hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight-stay.


 Lake Nakuru National Park, famous as the home to thousands of greater and lesser flamingo. The park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, rhino and leopard. Arrive for lunch in Nakuru. This morning will be the last of Kenya wildlife safaris, so after an early breakfast you will transfer by road (with a picnic lunch) to the Isebania border post between Kenya and Tanzania. will be assisted with visa issuance process then Proceed with our lunch boxes to Serengeti. Upon arrival into the Serengeti, and continue to the lodge with a game drive en route. This is flexible depending on the guest’s wishes. Overnight at Osero Camp / Serengeti bush camp.

After breakfast you depart for Ngorongoro Crater, viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains and stopping off at Olduvai Gorge en route. The Gorge acquired its name from the Sansevieria bush that grows profusely in the area, named Olduvai by the Maasai. The Gorge is about 50km long and in some places around 90m deep and is found between the Crater and the Serengeti. It was first discovered by a German entomologist named Professor Kattwinkel, who instigated an expedition just before the First World War. Later, the exploration was continued by Dr Louis Leakey and his wife, who in 1959 found humanoid remains of Zinjanthropus, later renamed Australapithicus Boisei, an early form of man. You will have time to walk through the simple small museum at the gorge, where you can view copy displays of some of the finds as well as pictures of what life was like for the gorge’s earliest inhabitants. A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart by 4×4 to explore what is commonly referred to as the World’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you’ll descend through the early morning mists and 2,000 feet into the crater for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is also one of the World’s seven natural wonders. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct habitats, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience. Late afternoon you leave the Crater and drive back to the lodge for the evening. Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge / Bougain ville Lodge on a full board basis.


After breakfast, you leave the Crater and drive through the highlands to Lake Manyara, stopping off at Mto wa Mbu village en route for a great cultural lunch. From here, you’ll continue to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive before ending the day on the rim of the crater at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Overnight at Lake Manyara Eilleeen treein on a full board basis.


Today you’ll depart after breakfast and head east, down the fascinating escarpment of the Rift Valley towards the village of Makuyuni and onto Arusha. The journey will pass through the Masai Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. Upon arrival into Arusha you’ll have lunch before being dropped of to catch the flight to Nairobi. From here, you will be transferred for your onward arrangements. Find us  on bremen
